Not the cleanest presentation, and didn’t want to use my actual Reddit account, but pretty sure that’s clearly a Cyrillic letter. The line I highlighted in yellow, the first letter resembles the Russian “F”, not to mention some discrepancies between the number of lines in the newspaper vs the one Mitch McConnell is holding up.
Couldn’t find a higher resolution, not even sure if this will upload well, but open to criticism. It was a quick put-together after I noticed what appeared to be the Russian “F” on the paper.

Your image does more to convince me it’s real than fake. The number of lines of text is correct, and the misshapen letters are to be expected from an enhanced image that was fuzzy. Also, why would someone, or an AI, put Cyrillic in the picture? That would be a very bizarre result or choice.
I am sure there is some monkey business going on surrounding Mitch, but this isn’t the smoking gun.

You lined them up wrong. Your A is line 1, followed by the other 3 lines. You can see text about your A which is A in the reference shot. I’m not saying it’s not fake, but your references do not prove it.
