For the first time in the roughly two decades the Pew Research Center has tracked global sentiment, China is viewed more favorably than the United States across much of the world, according to a survey of more than 42,000 people in 36 countries and territories conducted between February and May.

  1. China literally spends billions every year on propaganda, so it’s not surprising that most people view it favorably.

    The reality is that China is thousands of times worse than the United States, but the current American government is so despised worldwide that people trust a literal dictatorship more than the United States.

  2. That’s a meaningless amount of people especially when split across so many countries. You would have to get millions of people to give their answers for a poll like this to have enough of a data set to draw any conclusions.

    Australia does not favor China. I know that they prefer Japan, South Korea and the Philippines along with Taiwan over China.
