No mention in the article of whether or how foreign workers and immigrants (legal and illegal) impact these numbers.
The job market is incredibly bare right now. My local area on Indeed within a 25mi radius has 2 pages of job openings. That’s around 19 job postings. Obviously not every job is on Indeed but normally its 10+ pages chock full of job postings.
