It was a _global_ inflation crisis.The US economy saw just half the true inflation that virtually every other developed country did.
I’m not saying the Fed was singularly responsible for that success, but isn’t that a feather in the governors’ caps rather than something to hold against them in the case of SVB etc?
Of course I know these aren’t rational actors who are trying to solve problems. I just like to reminisce
