This seems like foreshadowing. The original poster said all of the boxes were empty. Who has them all now?

Who says there was ever anything in them? Maybe they’re old stock or there’s a problem with them. Faulty latches or something. The only conspiracy here is just the sheer volume of waste that’ll never degrade and slowly ruin the earth it’s on/in.
