These are the Ukrainian scientists and experts who died in the Kyiv arms exhibition massacre

The victims included high-ranking SBU officials and scientists.

Among the names released (based on family contributions and online sources) are:

Eduard Sirenko: Former head of the SBU’s “Alpha” special unit and advisor to the GUR.

Alexander Gordienko: Lecturer and expert on drone and artificial intelligence development for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Valentina Savitskaya: Head of the SBU’s Center for International Cooperation and Strategic Communications.

Yekaterina Shalupyna: Head of the legal department of the Union of Regional and City Councils of Ukraine (UAROR).

Bogdan Dmytrovych Melinyshyn: Prominent activist who supplied weapons and assistance to Ukrainian forces.

In addition, two Polish officials are mentioned – one with a military role and an advisor to the Polish Ministry of Defense.

The attack comes at a time of intensifying Russian attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure and command/technology centers.

Kyiv is trying to promote the production and use of drones as an asymmetric weapon, which Moscow seems to be systematically targeting.
