Ram Mandir fraud rattles UP temples over cash, credibility and control

The recent Ram Mandir scandal which saw massive amounts of money being stolen has put the spotlight on other temples finances. I find this article rather interesting because it raises a lot of questions about should the government manage temples ala TN. The increasing role of government interventions in temples and just how the temples are reacting to the debate. Some of them are improving their accounting system . I am intersted to wonder what this sub thinks about government management of temples ala Tamil nadu.
