I’m no expert and barely even paying attention to China, but from what I have seen (mass transit, renewable energy, housing prices, etc) it seems that China has spent most of this century reinvesting their profits back into the country while US capitalist seem hellbent on obtaining and hoarding every last cent they can get on the balance sheet… to the entire country’s detriment.
