He’s too much of a coward to actually do anything that could result in victory. And his defense advisors and Pentagon officials are all too cowardly to tell him, or stupid enough to think this small, limited campaign before breaking and begging for peace talks routine is ever going to result in any positive strategic change. All bark, no bite.
I can’t believe we put our foot in this bear trap with the dumbest SOB alive at the wheel. Even in some ideal world where we have competent leadership and allies who like us enough to join a coalition, it would still be a hard war, but nooo, we have a drunkard and a dementia patient leading us to battle.

Perhaps the Founding Fathers were onto something with the whole war starting power belonging to Congress, and not whatever chucklefuck is in the White House.
