I concede that bc of bad policy in other areas (ex: restricting housing) immigration can sometimes exacerbate certain problems caused by said bad policy, but that's an argument against the root bad policy, not immigration.

My life is not of more value because I was fortunate enough to be born in the U.S. additionally there are clear economic positives of open borders. For these reasons the only opposition to immigration as policy is either born of ignorance or bigotry

There are good arguments against everything. I am an American who is personally pro-immigration, but I can understand the perspective of people who like their culture and don’t want it to dramatically change, within reason.
