Fun fact, these are called asperitas clouds and they were officially classified as a new cloud type in 2017. First new cloud classification in over 60 years. Nobody really knows why they started appearing. They also happen to look exactly like Van Gogh’s Starry Night, which he painted in 1889 before this kind of sky was ever documented. Enoch 80 said the natural order of the sky would change in the last days. Interesting timing.
Joel 2:30 literally says blood, fire, and pillars of smoke. Written thousands of years ago. He never said the sky would magically turn red. Wildfires and smoke ARE the described mechanism. Having a scientific explanation doesn’t cancel a prophecy that names the exact mechanism.

They look like mammatus clouds after a thunderstorm went through. Not common but not new.

These were not new in 2017, I’ve seen them my entire life. They are caused by atmospheric gravity waves, wind shear, and unstable air moving through a dense mid-level cloud layer. Nothing mysterious. They look cool in person though.
