Eating undercooked Lanmaoa asiatica can cause vivid hallucinations of miniature people or elf-like figures.
But Maybe they’re just real and the substance actives something in our brain enabling our eyes to detect them.

The mycelium connects you to other dimensions and it can teach you if you listen to it.
Just remember, the message can be biased to empower your previous views.
Remain open-minded, take it in, breathe and just let the shroom open up your own mind to the thoughts that you usually burry down with nonsensical everyday worries.
Dare to dig deep into yourself as you will find that the answer is in your perception, not your surroundings.
Peace and love to you.

fungi actually run the world in almost every way that matters, including influencing the weather

as far as we know, we might just be sentient mushroom spores and bacteria

What if oxygen is actually a toxin that distorts human perception and the mushroom is the temporary antigen that allows humans to truly see reality.

Most people tend to incorrectly thing the term ***hallucination*** means *’stop asking rationally based questions here, you’re imagining things’*, when the truth is – you’re thinking about the term hallucination in the wrong way.
Just because something is a hallucination doesn’t mean it’s not real or that it’s imagined. Often times, many people equate concepts and terms like fiction, hallucination, myth to ‘not real’ or ‘imagined’ when the terms are different for a reason and don’t have full equivalence.
It’s easiest if you think of a hallucination on mushrooms as ‘turning the channel of reality for the duration of the effect of the mushrooms’. Meaning – you’re still seeing something that’s real, it just takes a fine tune of the channel of reality you’re currently observing with an external agent in order to see it.
That’s why different agents have different effects. You’re literally switching channels to see witness reality from other perspectives.
Make sense?

This is fascinating:
Chemical and genomic analyses performed on *Lanmaoa asiatica* [at the Natural History Museum of Utah](https://dentingerlab.org/) have revealed no traces of any known psychoactive compounds, suggesting that something entirely new is waiting to be discovered. In other words, *Lanmaoa asiatica* appears to harbor a chemical compound capable of reliably evoking this unusual experience of lilliputian hallucinations. The discovery of that chemical may, in fact, hold the key to understanding one of the most mysterious dimensions of the human psyche.
