
This is a real serious situation, how do we stop that from happening? Memory is not a ‘proof’, very few will have access to real ‘papers’? What can society do to prevent that situation or maybe it’s just a really dumb question.

Why would this be a problem just now? Papers can also be altered, hidden or kept private. At least with digital copies the information can be easily distributed. And if someone’s afraid it can be altered, then we have the beautiful blockchain technology that can help with that.
