Victor Davis Hanson: Could the Tucker Carlson 3rd party group split the republican vote, ensuring a democrat win in 2028?
I used to like and respect Carlson, but no longer. Not sure what he thinks that he will accomplish with his band of bitter misfits. https://youtu.be/HA-DkqHaB2Y
Unless Tucker Carlson can appeal to voters in a similar way to how libertarians have in the past the answer is a strong NO. Anyone affiliated with him is already largely irrelevant in politics.

I think it would go the other way.
Multiple polls have shown that traditional Democrats would rather vote Republican than DSA by 4 to 1. I think a party by Tucker would draw a lot of never Trumpers and traditional Democrats away from the left.

And I honestly think that is by design.
