The comment asked what would happen if you had an emergency in the remote wilderness and I jokingly replied "die". Reddit's AI detected that as a threat of violence and banned me for a week. I appealed but so far no luck. This site is going to hell in a handbasket if this is what its future looks like

I wonder if this comment will die
Oh i got the same for calling out that d list actor Michael rappaport and it said my account was banned for 4 days. I fought it and i was re instated. So yeah this tracks.
This is just a great datapoint of many to prove how unreliable these AI systems can be at spot-analyzing data and context.
Especially when collected on users over long periods of time and assigning weights to posts like those which have impacts on a models long-window analysis.
Which have major implications for the reliability of any for-sale data tied to specific identifying information about a synopsis or analysis of a user’s non-explicitly stated intention, what a reasonable person could defer as obvious sarcasm, etc.,
If companies using such systems are both *aware of this* hole in their system and are aware of potential inaccuracies from holes in their analytic models, they may both knowledge of falsity or reckless disregard for the truth and failure to use reasonable care to protect individuals from the sale of flawed analytic data that is tied to a information regarding a specific individual or user with identifying information.
Yes they do that, the bot banned me for a day, till there was human review
But they don’t need many humans to review, that’s the great benefit and echo chambers can flourish.
Now you can put AI to talk to AI and skyrocket your karma.
Which implies, put an AI to chat on your behalf so it passes the AI checkpoints.
Reddits main purpose is to train AI and push an agenda. It wasn’t like this when it first started , but here we are.
Oh! I thought it was an actual reddit employee doing it. When I first saw this, I was like, whoa, what the fuck did this dude say? I think it has to do with the letters J, I, and A.
DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DYE DYE DYE DYE D’EYE D’EYE D’EYE
Probably more balanced than most of the brain dead mods on Reddit.
Yep, I was booted last week by AI for something pretty innocuous.
