It is certainly possible, considering humans have explored only 5% of the ocean and 95% remains untouched. Let’s use a simple hypothesis: if a massive creature existed say, 100 meters wide and 250 meters long it would logically be undetectable to us. Given the ocean's immense depth, the water could easily conceal an animal of that size; even a creature a full kilometer long could remain hidden beneath the surface. So, the bottom line is that it is a possibility, given that the ocean is such a mysterious place though the actual facts are rather boring, so let's just skip that part, shall we?

Probably, we can’t really explore or monitor the ocean

If you ran into one would you live to tell about it?

I’m a bit busy, so I don’t always share these little conspiracy theories keep in mind I’m only presenting certain theories and hypotheses, though I often incorporate real-world information to back up the logic. Well, I don’t really care whether anyone reads them or not.

Dunno, but there’s a reason I don’t like swimming in a large body of water when I can’t see the ground, lol.

i consider the creatures in the ocean to already be sea monsters. Especially if you go back to the devonian period

  5. Mythical creatures from legend most likely no but I’m sure there are huge and bizarre animal species we just haven’t encountered yet.

It’s a deep ocean and we’ve not really explored the trenches since light can’t penetrate that deep.

Colossal squid exist, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that we eventually discover some leviathan that eats other organisms as big as sharks whole at some point.
