Youtubers like CookingWITHfred and Albert_Can_Cook always gave me that weird feeling…"How these guys that came out of NOWHERE viralized so quickly?!" – and this feeling gets weirder for me since Fred is an elderly person that barely talks, have a editing similar to Albert and as far as it seems, he doesn't seem to have anyone to help him out with it.
And when I say "they're not real", I don't mean they're robots or AI, but I have this theory that they're from inside Youtube, and appeared to boost this kind of content in Youtube Shorts or something, since they both appeared around the pandemy, when Youtube Shorts was created.
and if you search for it, you will not find anything related about their past, only what they've said about it, and it's pretty vague.

You guys always complain how the world is an evil place and the one time a person does wholesome stuff. You guys still complain lmao.
if you mean youtube promotes certain channels over others, or gives a boost to new channels they deem family friendly, then yes, they absolutely do that. could youtube be employing people to help edit and create videos secretly? sure, why not.
I think you need to look past these specific youtubers and look closer at the algorithms. There are so many mediocre content creators out there that if their content was shown on people’s recommendations they would explode and gain millions of views just because they show up. It would be very easy for a group on the inside to manipulate individual creators to either show up more often or less often in people feeds
