Theres a difference between being a crank and a crankmerchant.

A crank works in isolation. They cannot explain themselves to others. If one does start convincing other people, someone should inform the relevant authorities.

A crankmerchant is someone who has legitimate credentials, but uses them to criticize the practice of contemporary science and to boost the credulity of proposed revolutionary theoretical work.

    “ok what’s yours”

    “orange man good”

In my case, it’s trying to split the room on which of two character concepts is weirder and which is more intriguing to see if I can even splits or, more interestingly, if there’s one option that wins both?

Why? IDK, maybe my mind wants to do the guerilla market research for undiscovered niches of supernatural romance.
