I’m trying to understand why Holocaust survivors are occupying land on the border of Gaza. The concentration camps were in Germany, roughly 1,800 miles away. Why did they leave their homes and settle on land where they were surrounded by people who spoke a different language and practiced a different religion?
Why have they continued waging wars after taking control of a large portion of the native land in that region? Why have these Holocaust survivors continued to kill the region’s native people after taking their land?

Holocaust had 40m victims. Jews werent the only ones and by far not the highest count. My family are holocaust survivors and have hidden jews in Amsterdam during the war. They got prosecuted for it because the dutch were mostly collaborating rats who did it out of hate and not out of fear for the nazis. My grandparents and their parents rebuild their home after the war as they were homeless aswell. Same those jews could have done as they al had homes before but logic doesnt count for those people.
