**Amb. Freeman:**
“[T]he Israel project, the experiment with the Zionist state in Palestine you know, continues to chug along but it’s facing more and more headwinds, or that’s probably a wrong analogy because the problems it faces have been created by [Israel] itself, that is it has done nothing to gain the confidence trust, or certainly the affection of any of the other peoples in the West Asian Middle East region.
“It has now behaved with such uh wild abandon in the committing of atrocities that it has largely forfeited its
historic support from the west. The guilty conscience of the Holocaust has been overplayed, and people are now
willing for the first time to talk openly about Zionism as a vile, racist, expansionist ideology, akin to Nazism.
**Andrew Napolitano**
“Israelis are beginning to talk about that? That’s what you’re telling us?”
**Amb. Freeman:**
“Both Israelis and people abroad, in our own country [USA] for the first time. I mean there’s huge efforts being made to suppress freedom of speech in this country on this issue. We’ve had a whistleblower apparently just state the obvious, that the effort to go after universities like Colombia and Harvard, which are heavily Jewish in their in their comp, in their faculties and in their student bodies, for anti-alleged anti-Semitism, was purely a political, politically motivated false flag operation, or false operation.
“And indeed, we’ve seen the main enemies of free speech in this country are affiliated with the Zionist lobby. We have the First Amendment which is being set aside to police what is said on the airwaves, what is said in classrooms, what is taught in universities, what is researched, what is discussed in politics.
“But there is push back now. There is backlash from people who support the First Amendment, from people who see with their own eyes what Israel is doing, and think it is quite just and indeed proper to criticize that, and that criticism of that sort should be regarded as constructive rather than as somehow anti-Semitic.”
