I’m not really sure where I should post this, but I feel like I’m going crazy. Not sure if this is a Mandela effect or just bad memory on my part. But I could’ve sworn he died a few years ago. I know he had a stroke in 2012 but I am almost certain he passed away within the last five or six years. Does anyone else remember it that way?

I saw this today and thought to myself oh he died twice…..
BRO. i literally just told my mom he died and first thing she says “didn’t he already die?”
It’s the first time for me.
IIRC he was in the news a few years back due to health issues, but the stroke was a long time ago.
When my friend told me I thought he must have mistaken an article from years ago because I was sure he died a while back.
I said the same thing earlier.

He did not previously die. Another example of faulty memory. In this case due to his failing health.

Every Halloween people talk about Rocky horror and I don’t remember anyone ever mentioning he was dead.
Guys just been reclusive since his stroke.
Alan Rickman died not too long ago.

I don’t remember him dying, though I could see how you might have thought so. He couldn’t even speak for a while after his stroke, so his public appearances essentially stopped except for very rare exceptions.

I thought I was going crazy cause I could’ve sworn it was a few years ago. So double checked when he had the stroke and it was 2012. No way I was misremembering 14 years ago.
He has definitely died before. You are not alone
I’m with you on this – I remember seeing content / posts about his work and the memorable characters he played – the concierge, the pirate, the paranormal killer clown..
I remember rumors of his death circulated and he responded: “I’m still here! I’m not dead!” 🤣
