If the AfD were to assume a role in government for the first time this coming Sunday, it would have dramatic consequences—including for the party itself. Internally, there are doubts as to whether its own people would be up to the task.

Populist parties can’t govern, all they can do is complain about problems, not fix them. None of their idea’s actually fix anything (or would even work).
i get why it sounds like giga-cope but honestly an AfD majority state govt kinda sounds like the worst possible thing for them
