Yes, mainstream news is highly compromised. I have friends and family around the world and we all get fed a lot of different information.
Also the mainstream media is all owned by the same people who do not have our best interests at heart. We have to rely on ourselves I think. Content creators are better than mainstream news at this point.

When you say major news, what do you mean? Fox, cnn, etc? Cable news?

Reporting what? I guarantee they are if it’s a big enough story. If not, yeah they probably ignore it.
