We count it joy when we are persecuted. That’s the difference between Christianity and other world religions.
We do so because we know we’ve already won the fight and know to live is Christ and to die is merely gain for us anyway. All they get is our physical body. Nothing else.
Christ will ultimately come back one day on a day only God knows, and those who persecuted the righteous and faithful in the name of a false god and false belief will have no escape from their just reward. God will carry out vengeance on all who curse Him and those who belong to Him.
There will be nowhere to run and hide, no defense counsel, no escape.
