Personally I am very skeptical, but I heard Gnosticism was suppressed by Churches and almost destroyed. It basically says almost all religions before Christianity were purposely created by a malevolent deity in order to trap humanity in a material universe.

I find it fascinating and it makes a lot more sense than mainstream Christianity
I’m still trying to figure it out. Gnostic texts say Old Testament God was the false god (demiurge) which kinda makes sense.
The more you look in to it, the more it makes sense! I don’t fully 100% really believe anything, as there’s always more to the story.
