Trump suggests EU allowing Canada as associate member could be a ‘hostile act’

  1. >Trump conditioned his threat Wednesday on the “intention” of European leaders, saying that, “If it’s a good intention, that’s fine. If it’s a bad intention, we’ll put very heavy tariffs on Europe.” He also suggested the U.S. could cut off trade with Europe in certain areas.

He’s looking for an excuse to go after Europe, and this might be it. At the very least, it seems like Canada won’t be fighting this trade war alone anymore. The EU genuinely seems to have been putting in effort to court us rather than just the other way around.

What a piece of crap. Antagonizing a country then getting mad when they get closer to somebody else.

I’m convinced they add another month to my Bill C3 citizenship application whenever Trump opens his mouth

  4. His threats annoy me. Let him go ahead and withdraw all the troops from Europe and save American taxpayers billions, or impose a trade embargo on Europe—but the markets don’t like that, so we’re stuck with two more years of threats and blackmail attempts.

He’s been a damn hostile act his entire presidency towards Canada. He can kiss a Moose’s left nutsack. We will double down on something, just watch.
