Personally it’s justified. There are quite a few defenders saying “but why can’t poor people have fun?”. But the big thing is her savings was being supported by government money that can go to other people. Also international vacations are not a human right.

this whole idea of never being able to enjoy yourself/enjoy things if you’re poor/on any form of benefits is so stupid
its like the people who freak the fuck out because someone bought a bag of chips with their foodstamps instead of being forced to inhale nothing but beans forever
