My question is, if you factor in the BlackStone’s, BlackRock’s, Van Guards and State Streets of the world into this, how much of America’s land is owned by the wealthy?

Hawaii is definitely the most extreme example, but I’m sure other ultra-desirable places like California have the same problem. We’re rapidly becoming a nation of renters. The kids growing up today don’t have a chance at owning a single home or an acre of land, but 37 billionaire’s own 10% of Hawaii where they set up their doomsday bunkers.

At the same time the native Hawaiian people have been rendered landless renters on their own ancestral land. How is this **not** colonization?
