The number of international students enrolled at universities in Korea rose 69 percent over the past three years to 307,500, data showed. The FT noted Seoul offers students good value, providing access to globally renowned K-pop culture and vibrant city life at manageable costs.

From universities to workplaces, migrants are increasing in all sectors of Korean society. In response, anti-immigrant xenophobia activism is emerging.
It seems that the mainstream parties is not that interested in this anti-immigration sentiments, but these far-right groups show their presence through their MAGA symbolism.
