Is ensuring that does not occur not a power and duty of the respective office that is to be faithfully executed to ensure their defense in imminent scenarios?
Because it either is or isn’t.

– technology exists that can cause earthquakes. This is not debatable, only the strength and capacity of said weapons is up for debate
– the Pacific Ocean houses the ring of fire
– we are living through the strongest El Nino ever recorded
– the Cascadia subduction zone is loooong overdue for a massive 9.0+ earthquake which would decimate the entire western seaboard
– there has been a noticeable uptick in seismic activity within the ring of fire in 2026
– the entire Pacific coast of the USA are firmly blue states, with Gavin Newsom striking Trump’s nerves left, right, and center. He’s a top choice to run against Trump in the next election.
– in Canada, BC is very leftwing and also outspoken against Trump.
– BC borders Alberta which is an oil rich province, about to have a referendum for separating from Canada, with **known** US inteference.
– BC is essentially cut off from the rest of Canada via the Rocky Mountains and the only connection is via Alberta or waaaaaay up north through Yukon/Northwest Territories and then down into Saskatchewan.
– all the US needs is a good emergency to usher in martial law and/or disrupt midterms. All things considered, a giant emergency (especially in blue states) only benefits Trump and the Republicans
– if a massive earthquake were to hit, there simply are not enough resources available to assist. We’re talking about destruction of Victoria, Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego and everything in-between.
– Victoria is home to Canada’s entire Pacific naval fleet
– if BC was isolated by Alberta separating, and all of a sudden was desperate for emergency help which only the US would theoretically be able to provide, they wouldn’t be in a position to say no to any of Trump’s demands.
– Greater Vancouver and Victoria areas account for just under 10% of Canada’s entire population. An emergency of this magnitude would destroy Canada, especially of they lost Alberta which is a powerhouse in the Canadian economy
……..
I’m not predicting anything. Im not paranoid. All of what I said are simply facts. You come to your own conclusions.
