Russia inherited extensive labs used for bio-weapons and disease research from the USSR and the accusations they have been making against other countries recently suggest that they are very active in bio-weapons research. That is pretty concerning given that they share weapons technology with Iran and other US enemies like North Korea. I haven’t been able to find articles discussing such a link yet, though.
