One ally pays his own way, stays out of our politics with aggressive lobbying, and is a partner because we have a shared history, language, and even destiny.
The other ally takes more foreign aid than any other country, despite having free healthcare and no debt. They have a powerful lobby to prop up people loyal to them , and destroy those who aren't.
