I’ve basically just gotten angrier and angrier the past 15 years or so because everything is “the lesser of two evils”.
Since I’ve been old enough to pay attention, nothing political has ever made me go “wow! That’s awesome! Stuff is really going to get better now!”
But if you’re looking for illogical and emotional tribalism then holy shit is politics the place for you.

Yes in the sense of both parties being on the side of Capital. Republicans are hitting almost %100 unity, and the growing number of progressive Democrats being the only real opposition party

The elite bloodlines have been doing this for centuries. They control the puppets and they make it look like you voted for them so you have a stake in supporting your side to protect your fragile ego from being in the wrong.
Meanwhile they jerk the sheeple back and fourth between left and right extremes instigating the masses to go at each other’s throats.
Just look at what’s going on now with the joy and elation of farmers losing their farms because they voted for the other guy.
Meanwhile agriculture continues to decay and become broken under corporate takeover as the peons continue to point fingers at each other.
This is just one facet of the madness of today’s foul and decrepit world.
