Submission statement: The Dangote refinery in Nigeria is the 7th largest in the world. The EU has been forming closer relations with Nigeria to encourage more exports of refined fossil fuels as a result of what is happening in the Middle East.
This is good for Nigeria as it encourages more high value exports moving them up the production chain which encourages economic development.
