    >Following October 7, in the last few months of 2023 alone, there were 900 Gaza protests across the country, according to a report by MPs. But the request for the first demonstration was lodged at 12.50pm on October 7 by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign.

    …

    >Sir Ephraim Mirvis, the Chief Rabbi, agrees. “The demonisation of Israel, which our societies around the world have found to be acceptable, is just one step away from the demonisation of all Jews,” he says.

There is no limit to the number of articles diaspora Jews can post detailing the harassment, abuse, and violence we’ve faced since October 7th, 2023 that will make people change their minds and behaviors.

Because nothing we do can make people change their minds and behaviors, only they can.

We know what happens when these movements gain power in society. We know what happens when this ancient hatred drives societies’ animus.

[We should not have to worry that Western societies in 2026 will regress to 1968 Poland, or worse.](https://fathomjournal.org/communists-against-jews-the-anti-zionist-campaign-in-poland-in-1968/)

It’s not complicated or difficult, it doesn’t depend on the [context](https://apnews.com/article/harvard-penn-mit-president-congress-intifada-193a1c81e9ebcc15c5dd68b71b4c6b71). It’s centuries- and millennia-old hate and lies that will continue to increase until and unless non-Jews decide to act against it.

Nah. Equating anti-zionism to anti-semitism is in itself antisemitic. No surprise though since Israel is probably the biggest promoter of antisemitism worldwide. Can’t have anyone think they’re not the biggest victim in the room.

Putting aside the real rise in anti-semitism in western countries over the last few years, I do not like how this article was written

    >“Three years ago, on October 7, Palestinian terrorists stormed Israel’s borders and carried out a massacre…”

How can we take an article about anti-Israel sentiment becoming anti-Semitic rhetoric seriously when it declines to distinguish between Palestine and Hamas in the very first line of the article?

By the author’s logic, this article is dangerously anti-Muslim and it’s ideas can’t be allowed to grow in western society
