I normally think the “AI” hype, both positive and negative, tend to be greatly overrated and that there probably isn’t much reason to be highly eager *or* concerned about that stuff, but this is one area where I’ll openly admit exception to that general stance, and where it should be aggressively banned. Fuck that shit

I’m far from a Luddite. I use AI tools daily and think they have some value. Although I think the value of LLMs is massively overrated.
However we need to start treating counterfeit information/video that isn’t clearly labeled as such in the same we test counterfeit money. Even if this fucks with big tech in the short term. It needs to be done.
