I feel like at a certain point schools are going to have to straight up teach epistemology. You cant expect people overloaded with information sources to go through life without at minimum learning about things like selection bias.
Divergence like this instead of convergence toward a worldview that accurately reflects reality is kind of ridiculous given how we literally have the world’s knowledge at our fingertips now.
Especially ridiculous is when both sides diverge both from each other and reality in certain contexts (e.g. in economics).
