Im curious, how does American antitrust enforcement work with foreign mergers that do tons of business here?

Context: Apparently Foxconn wants in on Nissan, especially the shares that Renault is giving up. Nissan really doesn’t want to be owned by Foxconn and is desperately searching for a white knight apparently and Honda can fill that role.
