The US basically passed that aid package and said “our job here is done” and moved on to other things. It is deeply unserious not to keep Ukraine war at least on the periphery of national discourse at all times, otherwise it’ll be impossible to maintain even the public consensus needed to keep delivering aid in the future.
This is the number one thing happening on the planet. Its importance dwarfs any other issue. It can not be allowed to slip from the public conscience, and it should actively be used to gradually prepare the American public for war.
