Why does an Argentinian soccer player get a Presidential MoF? I don’t even know if I have as much issue with giving it to foreign nationals as I do with ‘what has he actually done for Americans that makes him a hero of our people?’. Maybe I’m interpreting the award wrong but I’ve always seen it as sort of a ‘You’re an American hero and here’s your medal, Superman’ kind of thing.
