Honestly, we should just probably buy pre-fab warships from Japan or South Korea at this point.
The *Maya-class* of Japan and the *Sejong the Great-class* of South Korea are basically Arleigh Burkes, but are arguably better warships (or at the minimum, comparable).
The newest *Arleigh Burkes* cost upwards of 2.3 billion each. Japan is building the *Mayas* for 1.5 billion each.
