A point I haven’t seen addressed yet: immigration and inflation are the top two issues for many voters, but Trump’s plan for mass deportations would make inflation worse. Food and housing are the areas in which many of those voters feel inflation most keenly. If much of the labor force that picks our crops and builds our homes is taken away, the results will be labor shortages, supply disruptions, and higher prices.
