Important to note that the last transgender military ban banned new transgender recruits, while this one appears that it would force out transgender people already serving in the military too. Ghoulish.
Edit: Also extremely dumb to ban transgender people when we’re in a deep recruiting crisis and transgender people are over-represented in the military.
Can someone possibly enlighten me on what these DEI programs are that constantly get talked about in the abstract? I’m a service member, and maybe it’s because my job is more OPs related, but I’m not aware of any DEI programs or training that go on.
