This is a humanitarian catastrophe.
The fact that the richest nation on earth has decided that saving millions of lives with no downside isn’t worth it because those lives aren’t American is absolutely unconscionable.
People are lamenting the collapse of American soft power. If this is what the American voters wanted, do we really deserve that power?
