At this point, I’m becoming the joker. Just burn it down.

There is no other way for the American people to learn this lesson.

I thought you were our sibling, friendly rivalry but you would always have our backs, I no longer feel this way. I’ll always remember our deep friendship, our interconnectedness that brought us together. I will never forgive you for this. We supported you through many hard times and you just stabbed us in the back. Our soldiers died helping you. Where’s our allies? We are the first, definitely not the last. He will come after you too.

Decades of friendship. Gone in a week

I hope we kick your asses in the upcoming hockey tournament.

Let the shitshow begin, it’s what the American voter wanted despite knowing full well it’s what he promised.

  4. Fuck, looks like we touched the stove. Now we’re gonna get burned and honestly the country deserves it. Just shitty that those of us who were screaming how bad this would hurt are going to have to also take the lumps

  5. Ngl. I am surprised the POTUS can unilaterally impose tariffs just like that. You would think this would be the realm of the legislature, but guess that would give them power and that makes them uncomfortable.

  6. The immense damage. The incredibly moral clarity of the moment. There’s not even jokes for this. I guess Monday everyone will just immediately get it when the stock news comes out? The Conservative Golden Age lasted less than two weeks.

  7. Oh gee a sales tax on consumer goods increasing prices i wonder who that’s gonna ratfuck the hardest

Not the rural brokeass Trumples out there, nooooo it’ll totally be the Librul elite

This is economic illiteracy at the max, it’s worse than anything the progressives have been doing or saying to be honest.

What happened to the Republican Party?

Unfathomably poor economic sense. For as long as humans have existed, trading relationships have been a path to great wealth.
