Good. The people yearn for this. Show them that Trump barely won and has no mandate. Muck up his gears and play obstructionist, hell, take pointers from Mitch, he seems to vote against the picks now. Tie the GOP to Trump and sink them. I like the aggression stated in the article. No longer will the Dems be called “pussies”.

Something I’m coming around to is the tactic of introducing laws even if you believe they have no chance of passing (such as the one mentioned in the article that would block Musk from mucking with the US Treasury) since it forces the Republicans to say no, putting them on the defense.
Maybe it doesn’t make sense to waste time on non-passable bills like that when you’re in power and you have a massive agenda to get through, but when you’re out of power, like, lol, what else are you going to be doing with your time.
Good to see Democrats in Congress doing some of the “do something”s they should be doing.

There’s a reason the squad got elected in 2018 and not 2014. There’s a base of Democrats who have no desire to be moderate and compromise with Donald Trump. They’re not enough to win in purple districts because partisan Democrats don’t outnumber partisan Republicans + swing voters, but in safe blue areas? If you’re a Democrat compromising with Trump I’d probably make sure you have the local connections in place to avoid a primary challenge.
