Not entirely, but it’s certainly trending in that direction at alarming speed. The last two weeks alone have utterly destroyed a significant chunk of goodwill and crediblity that took seven decades to build up.
I’d hesitate to argue that Pax Americana completely dies (the US isn’t really in a position to be totally supplanted in that regard), but the damage that has already been done will have crippled American foreign policy for at least a generation if not more. And if the idiocy of the last few weeks is any indication, I see little reason to assume it won’t continue getting worse.
