Smotrich said he’ll quit the government if the war isn’t resumed. If he and his party quit the coalition, then Bibi is no longer PM. Bibi prioritizes staying in power more than anything else.
Also Smotrich shortly after phase one of the ceasefire was announced: “We will wipe the smile from the Palestinians, but the screaming will remain. Gaza is uninhabitable and it will remain that way.”
