It’s because these great patriots knew Donald would win the election, so the eagerly signed up in advance for our tremendous war with Canada and annexation of Greenland
I still remember one guy that walked into the recruiting office with a MAGA hat on and told me he wanted to be in Trump’s army. It took him three tries to pass the ASVAB.
Anyway the Army met its recruiting goal by decreasing its target for the fiscal year.
