Personally, this strengthens my suspicions that everyone else they kidnapped is dead, and they don’t neccessarily know where the bodies are.

Both sides have violated the deal. Bibi agreed to send a delegation to Doha to negotiate phase 2 on day 16 and he still hasn’t by day 22. They also haven’t been allowing the requested number aid trucks. Trump tripling down on ethnic cleansing also played a role; it was absolutely jeopardizing the deal, IDF killed three Palestinians–all unarmed– approaching the Netzarim corridor yesterday as well.
At the same time, Hamas has been engaging in emotional terrorism with the hostages (they’ve tortured hostages and these hostage release “ceremonies” are heinous) and they have delayed the release of list multiple times along with delaying the release of one woman hostage for a few days . Some people think this is Hamas delaying to make hostages look more presentable after the horrific display of three emaciated hostages this past weekend
It’s fucked. I very strongly hope the deal can be continued but it’s not looking good. Shame cause we had some good news today with the PA ending the “Martyrs fund”.

Ok, so the war is going to continue. Idk they let go of a dozen live hostages for a temporary truce, but now the Israelis have trump’s weird support for them and sort of regain the moral high ground.

With Trump threatening to ethnically cleanse Gaza and conquer it for the US or… something? I’m still not 100% sure what he actually proposed but it sounded something like that? This seems like maybe a dangerous choice by Hamas to make?
